Anyways, on with the review! Today, I'm going to review the Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips for Green Eyes. Like I've said, Physician's Formula was one of the first brands that I tried when I decided to go semi-natural/organic. I was really excited for this eyeshadow palette (?). The colors are just so pretty, I mean look at this!
Hypoallergenic. Dermatologist Approved. Fragrance Free. Safe for Sensitive Etes and Contact Lense Wearers.
Since I never really used eyeshadow that often the top six colors (purples and greens) scared me. For awhile I only used the bottom three (the neutrals). I didn't use the foam tip applicator that was included, I used those cheap ELF brushes you can buy from Target. Since the colors aren't separated, it's hard to just pick up one color at a time unless you do use the foam tip. The color pay off isn't the greatest.
All in all, this didn't really cut it for me. I like having three colors on my eyes: one color on the lid, an outer corner color, and a highlight under my brow and corner of my eye. They have it 'divided' into three different looks you can make (they had names for each, but I can't remember). I originally thought that the three colors in each section was to create the normal eye look that I would usually do. Wrong-o. The thinner strips are liners. I never really was the biggest fan of using eyeshadow as a liner anyways. So this made it harder for me to try to pick up with a brush to just use as an eyeshadow.
I'm just not a fan of this product. This is my personal opinion. What doesn't work for me, might work wonderfully for you.
Where you can buy this:
All Drugstores, $10.95
Walmart
Target
Have you tried this before? What do you think?

Rachel
